SMALL FEET - HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THEM?

Due to their complicated structure and the functions they perform, the feet are particularly exposed to injuries and illnesses. The slightest deviations in their structure may result in defects postures such as: scoliosis, arthrosis, discopathy or degeneration of the hip joints. Usually it's bad habits that lead to these diseases, incorrect footwear and bad care. Right knowledge of the foot growth from the first months of life can protect us against above mentioned problems.

Learning to walk

The latest research shows that a child is already preparing to learn to walk in the womb - pushes, kicks, touches, hits with his feet and hits feet to feet. After birth, the little ones improve their skills and the possibilities of the feet: they begin to push off the ground, move, turn, suck their toes, they lift themselves first to sit down, then to kneel, stand and walk.

Usually, around the second six months of life, the child starts to sit up, and at the end of this period - to stand up and walk. The infant should gradually acquire the individual motor skills that prepare his skeletal and muscular system. Before the feet serve as a support for the toddler's body, they need to develop an ideal model of functioning on a trial and error basis.

During this a complicated process, they will train balance and control of muscle tension, flatten out, lopsided in and out.

What's next?

At 3-4 years of age, a concavity begins to appear on the inner, plantar side of the foot.
Rapid skeletal growth and a slower muscular system growth pose a new threat to feet - they may become weak, aches and pains may appear, especially with limited movement, fast fatigue or a feeling of numbness during increased physical exertion.

Therefore, from the very beginning, it is necessary to provide the child with freedom of movement of the lower limbs, giving up dressing babies in tight tights, socks and shoes that are not adapted to their needs. At first tiny and pink feet become long and wide over time to be able to lift greater weight. Their tiny tendons and muscles are also strengthened. If the feet are not looked after and well treated, it will cause problems later in life.

The most common foot defects include: flat foot, flat valgus foot, clubfoot, hollow foot.

To prevent all of the above-mentioned conditions, it is necessary to take care of the feet from the first months of life.
Therefore, make sure your child wears appropriate footwear such as ekoTuptusie.

Now you know it's extremely important from the very beginning.
